Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League anticipates exciting national quarterfinals at Garvey Park, Tavua on Saturday.
This was after Nasinu Secondary School upset defending champions Ratu Kadavulevu School in the U19 Southern/ Eastern Zone final over the weekend. The Kinoya based school defeated RKS 22-10.
It was also a close match in the third place playoff where Queen Victoria School defeated John Wesley College 28-14.

In the U17 final Ratu Sukuna Memorial was awarded the win for scoring more tries following a 14-14 draw against Nasinu. FSSRL vice president Naisa Cama said; “The quarterfinals will be competitive as the standard has vastly improved.
“Lautoka/ Nadi zone have also concluded their competition and top giants Ratu Navula College and Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute will be coming out strong.
“Teams from the Ba/Tavua/Ra Zone will be the underdogs
“We will not count any teams out in this national quarterfinal.”
