The Osea Naura captained- Ba Methodist High School is expecting to change their tactics in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Under-15 final at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, on Saturday.

The side is ready to face Queen Victoria School.

The Matavelo side drew 6-6 against Sigatoka Methodist College in the semi-final last week but only qualified for scoring the first try.

Ba Methodist High School head coach David ‘King’ Wise said they have learned a lot from their matches this season.

“All good and looking forward to playing our first ever grand finale,” he told SUNsports yesterday.

“QVS is a champion side, they are the number one seed from the Southeast zone and we are the third seed from the Western zone.

“This week we will rectify our weakness and work on our defence. QVS defeated us in the national quarterfinal last year, so this year we are looking forward to meeting them in the final.”

QVS beat Nabua Broncos 14-8 on their way to the final.

Wise added that the team would be playing in their brand-new kit sponsored by Vodafone Fiji but in their traditional colours of maroon and white.

The side will be banking on Naura, Seruvi Vakalolo and versatile winger Semi Sasai.

Multiple bus-loads of supporters from Nailaga, Ba are expected on Saturday to support the team as they chase for a historic win.
