Vesikula happy to be playing at home
Vesikula said the crowd and the atmosphere of playing in Suva was different from what was like in Australia.

Eighteen year-old Lusiana Vesikula of the NSW Waratahs Women’s team was excited of playing on home soil for the first time.
She played centre in their pre-season clash against the McDonald’s Fijian Drua Women side, which ended in a 27-27 draw.
Vesikula originally hails from Ucunivanua, Verata, in Tailevu with maternaly links to Namuka, Nakelo, in Tailevu.

The Drua and Waratahs are going to meet again in the opening round of the Super W on June 6 at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney, Australia.
Speaking to SUNsports Vesikula said she was thrilled to be back home and playing her first game in Suva.
“It was very nice coming back home,” she said.
“I haven’t been here for a while. Just seeing, like the crowd and the atmosphere was very nice and playing, around here. It’s great to have family support that I haven’t seen for a while coming over to support me,” she said.
Vesikula said the crowd and the atmosphere of playing in Suva was different from what was like in Australia.
She said despite the draw with the Drua, they would need to focus on their defence before the opening round.
“I think we’re just need to work hard on our defence, working for each other, like really shutting them down. We’ll like to have a pretty good run in round one,” she said.
