British reggae band UB40 is set to make its second trip to Fiji, with officials confirming 2026 as the date for its next concert.

The show will take place at King Charles Park in Nadi, nearly two decades after the band’s last appearance in Fiji during its Who You’re Fighting For South Pacific tour.

The announcement comes just months after the massive success of the Homecoming Festival 2025, which drew thousands of fans to Nadi.

Nadi Town Council chief executive officer Muni Reddy said the council would work closely with Tourism Fiji and the Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to deliver another world-class event.

Chamber president Lawrence Kumar said businesses in Nadi would benefit greatly.

“We just experienced three great days during the Homecoming concert, and we now have ample time to prepare for 2026,” he said.

Tourism Fiji acting chief executive officer Robert Thompson said authorities were aware of the upcoming concert and discussions were underway with stakeholders.

The return of UB40 is expected to be another major drawcard for both locals and international music lovers.
