250 illicit vape products seized in multi-agency raid in Nadi

Authorities say the raid followed allegations that the company had been bringing vapes into the country illegally and selling them without approval from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

A multi-agency task force carried out a raid on a Namaka-based company this morning, seizing 250 assorted flavoured vape products allegedly imported and distributed without the required licence.
The operation involved officers from the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, Fiji Police Force, Nadi Health Office and the Tobacco Control and Enforcement Unit.
