The Naviti Resort was booked out at the weekend as guests continued to arrive for the Fiji Day festivities.
Close to 200 guests arrived at the resort yesterday - as some checked in, and others were day guests, as the resort came to life with a flag raising ceremony that marked the beginning of a host of activities.
“We’re filing up as majority of guests are walking in,” hotel spokesperson Angela Hassan said.

Guests and staff engaged in egg tossing, tug of war, coconut tunnel followed by an hour of cultural experience.
Cultural experience included coconut husking, coconut scraping, and hat weaving to name a few.
A game of volleyball was followed by the the lowering of flag, before a round of touch footy closed the activities of the day.
Rates are valid to Fiji residents every weekend until December, 2020.
