Fuel Price Drop From Tomorrow

New regulated prices for Unleaded Petrol, Premix, Kerosene, Diesel, and LPG products for September 2022 have been determined by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC).
The new prices will come into effect from tomorrow, September 1.
“The decrease in fuel price brings us hope,” said taxi driver, Ashwin Vikash.

Mr Vikash has been in the taxi business for five years.
“For the past few weeks and months, we have been trying to make ends meet especially with the increase in prices of basic food items.
“But now I am happy knowing that with the new fuel price, I can earn more and earn profit at the end of the day,”
Fiji Taxi Association president Raben Singh welcomes the new price and said it would help taxi drivers generate more income for their families.
“We need to take into account that everything is costly nowadays, and I am satisfied with the new reduced fuel price.”
Ateca Druguta, a vehicle owner who travels daily from Nausori to Suva said the reduced fuel price would help her save some money.
