Husband Dead After Alleged Domestic Dispute

A 56-year-old farmer who attempted to take his own life after allegedly stabbing his wife on Friday, died yesterday morning at the Sigatoka Hospital.
The alleged incident took place in Yavala, Sigatoka, where the suspect, now deceased, had allegedly stabbed his wife on her left hand following an argument.
The suspect allegedly later fled from the scene and was later found lying motionless metres from the scene after he attempted to take his life.

The woman and the husband were admitted at the Sigatoka Hospital.
A post mortem examination will be conducted soon to determine the cause of death. The woman remains admitted at the hospital.
