Six arrested in Nadawa for alleged illegal sale of liquor

Six people were taken into custody yesterday morning for allegedly selling liquor without a valid licence in Nadawa, Nasinu.

The arrests followed a raid conducted by the Southern Division Taskforce at a shop in the area, where assorted liquor was seized during the operation.

In a media statement Police said the six suspects remained in custody as investigations continue into the alleged illegal sale of alcohol.

Police has acknowledged the public for sharing information that led to the operation and is urging members of the public to continue reporting the illegal sale of liquor.
