All Schools Closed: North, West and Ovalau

Flood warning continues for areas near and downstream of major rivers in the Western Division and Vanua Levu.

According to the Fiji Meteorological Service this has the potential to continue until Friday.

As a result, schools in these areas, including Ovalau will be closed today.

It comes after consultation between the Permanent Secretary for Education Selina Kuruleca and and the team at National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).

The Ministry of Education has also reminded all parents and guardians to be alert of the current unfavourable weather condition.
