Auto One Director Passes Away

Business, religious and sports communities are mourning the loss of one of  Haji Mohammed Rafiq.

The late Mr Rafiq was the managing director of Auto One Fiji, a car dealer and automotive manufacturer, based in Suva.

He passed away at the CWMH in Suva yesterday morning after a short illness.

Mr Rafiq was president of the Fiji Muslim Sports Association, Board of Governor of the Fiji Muslim Sports Federation and manager of Suva Muslim School.

Fiji Muslim League president Hafizud Khan said Mr Rafiq was a dedicated and diligent worker.

Tributes flowed in from business communities and sporting fraternities upon the announcement of his passing.

Mr Rafiq is survived by his wife and four children.
