A Nadi man was further remanded by Suva Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa on Tuesday for one count of theft.

The accused, Timoci Nacokula, is alleged to have dishonestly appropriated a nylon rope valued at $8 with the intention to permanently deprive the complainant of his property.

Police prosecutor Constable Walter Taito requested for the accused to be remanded in custody pending production before a Nadi magistrate.
