Crash Report With Ministry of Civil Aviation, To Be Published
The Pacific Flying School Cessna 172 crashed in the mountainous region of Delaikoro, Macuata, in March last year.

The investigation outcome report on the Cessna 172 crash from last year has been released to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and will be published soon, says line minister and Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed- Khaiyum.
He confirmed this in Parliament yesterday after Opposition MP Pio Tikoduadua said they were still in the dark about the outcome of the investigation.
The Pacific Flying School Cessna 172 crashed in the mountainous region of Delaikoro, Macuata, in March last year.

“We had brought in an investigator from New Zealand and these investigations are not completed in a week,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.
“Sometimes it can take over a year, if they really want to do a proper investigation.
“The investigation report has just come out recently to the ministry and we have said that it will get published.
“In fact it is on its way to publication.”
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said there was nothing secretive about the report as alluded to by Mr Tikoduadua.
The Cessna 172 crash claimed two lives; Pilot and Flight Instructor Iliesa Tawalo and student pilot Merelesita Lutu.
