A man was released on $200 bail in the Suva Magistrates Court after he appeared charged with one count of theft.
Timoci Peterson is alleged to have stolen a bottle of Yellow Tail wine worth $28.95 from Liquor World in Damodar City, Raiwai on February 4, 2018.
Police prosecutor Constable Kalara Neisamu told Magistrate Waleen George that the accused was a first offender.

Peterson was bailed and ordered not to offend and not to interfere with prosecution witnesses whilst on bail.
The case was adjourned to March 21 for his plea to be heard.
