Kasavu Accident Victim Laid To Rest Today
The family intend to have the funeral today at the Kasavu cemetery once the Police conclude their preliminary investigations.

The funeral of the late Tasleem Ali is expected to take place today.
This was confirmed by his Uncle Saffar Ali.
Police managed to retrieve Tasleem's car from the Rewa river this earlier today and investigations are currently ongoing at the Waidra site.

Mr Saffar said they intend to have the funeral today at the Kasavu cemetery once the Police conclude their preliminary investigations.
He also thanked the authorities for their efforts in locating the car.
Last Wednesday Tasleem allegedly lost control of the vehicle he was driving when it veered off the road in Baulevu and plunged into the Rewa river.

A statement from Police said a joint search team consisting of divers from the Fiji Police Force and the Naval Division of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces pulled out the vehicle.
The car was located after 8am this morning when divers saw oil leading them to the location of the submerged vehicle.
The joint team was assisted by the National Fire Authority where the car and the victim's body was pulled out from the river.
The victim has been positively identified by his uncle.
