Mere And Immanuel Take On Lead Roles

Mere Vakacoa’s aim is to thrive academically and lead by example.
The Year 13 student was inducted as the Head Girl of Maharishi Sanatan College in Nadi yesterday.
Mere, 18, is from Sorokoba Village in Ba and is the eldest of four siblings.

“Despite the struggles, my parents did not give up on supporting us, putting food on the table and supporting our education,” she said
“Those challenges have inspired me to thrive academically and lead by example and also fulfill my dream so that I can help support my family.”
“God is also my inspiration. He alone knows the best plans for my future,” she added.
Head boy Immanuel Ledua, who is from Rotuma said leadership was what he learned from his family.
