RFMF Senior Officers Present Fijian Hospitality

Senior Officers of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) attending military courses in Australia and their families presented the Fijian hospitality during the International Day Celebrations on March 23.
Brigadier-General Jone Kalouniwai stated that the 2019 International Day Celebrations was hosted by the overseas students attending courses at the Australian Staff College and the Australian War College.
“The International Day Celebrations was hosted by the overseas course members of both colleges showcasing traditional food and beverages, artifacts, attire and dances,” Brigadier-General Kalouniwai said.

He added that the international day was an opportunity for the students and their families to work together with the Fijian High Commission to Fiji in Canberra and members of the Fijian Community to present an excellent display of typical Fijian hospitality and humour.
Brigadier-General Kalouniwai who is attending courses at the Australian War College while Major Toni Nagauna and Major Iowame Lilo are attending courses at the Australian Staff College were part of the overseas students from 51 countries showcasing their respective nations at the occasion.
The occasion was attended by members of the Australian Defence Force’s and their families.
