Sodelpa Management Board Meets Tomorrow

SODELPA’s Management Board will meet tomorrow to go over the agenda for the party’s Annual General Meeting in November.

This was confirmed by the party’s general secretary Emele Duituturaga following the Working Committee meeting at the SODELPA headquarters yesterday.

The meeting was chaired by vice president Ro Teimumu Kepa and attended by Ms Duituturaga, Ratu Epenisa Cakobau, Tanya Waqanika, Sitiveni Rabuka, Youth Leader Jope Koroisavou and others.

Ms Duituturaga said the party was strengthening its internal transparency and accountability governance systems and the secretariat was submitting two key policy documents for approval - the Finance Policy and Procedures Manual and the draft Human Resources and Administration Manual.

SODELPA is also reviewing its constitution and a report will be presented soon from the Constitutional Review Committee.

It is understood that Ratu Epenisa did not chair the meeting because he also attended the controversial Ba West Constituency meeting.
