Ba Methodist faces QVS in U15 final

The Osea Naura captained- Ba Methodist High School has created history when they qualified to their first Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Under-15 final. 

This was after the side was awarded the win after they had scored the first points against Sigatoka Methodist College. 

Both teams tied 6-6 at full-time and continued on to extra time. 

The Matavelo-based school scored the first try through Naura with the conversion from Seruvi Vakalolo going over, 6-0. 

Halftime: Ba Methodist led 6-0. 

In the second half, Sigatoka Methodist came back strongly and engineered a move, which allowed  Manasa Telawa to score while Tikiko Naruma kicked over the conversion. 

Naura said they worked hard to come this far. 

"It was a tough game as expected," he said. 

"We did lose to them in the Western Zone semi-final, and I guess we turned the table around." 

In the other U15 semi-final, Queen Victoria School beat Nabua Broncos 14-8.
