They now qualify for the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union Weet-Bix Raluve Trophy national quarterfinals where they'll face the second qualifiers from Eastern Zone.

The competition runs in parallel with the Vodafone Deans Trophy.

Team coach Leone Savai is confident of another win to secure spot in the national semifinal.

Captain Semaima Tabua received the Best U18 Girls Player award.

Tabua and Taraivini Miliakere scored tries in their win.

"I thank the players for making us proud," Savai said.

He also thanked the school principal Dhirendra Lal, teachers and parents for their support.

Lal said it was the first time such kind of competition was organised and he thanked the organisers for having the girls category.

"We believe in holistic development and women empowerment.

"This was one of the reasons we had sent a team to participate.

"The students have achieved way beyond our expectations and I wish them all the best in the next level of competition."
