Army speedster Alosio Naduva was awarded the Player of the Final award after the Fiji Airways Fijians 7s team beat South Africa 24-17 at the Hamilton 7s Cup final at Waikato Stadium last night.
Naduva scored three tries as Fiji rallied from 17-5 down at halftime to beat South Africa 24-17.
“It was very good, firstly I want to thank the Lord for giving me such a beautiful talent, I want to thank my mum, who came all the way from Fiji and is here.
“Thank my dad, family and the loyal Fiji Airways Fijian supporters,” Naduva said

Cup quarterfinals: Fiji 12-10 Samoa, New Zealand 19-12 England, Kenya 12-33 Australia, South Africa 22-0 Scotland.
Semifinals: Fiji 14-12 New Zealand, Australia 5-24 South Africa.
Trophy final: Argentina 12-31 United States.
Fifth place play-off: Samoa 19-15 Kenya.
Bronze medal match: New Zealand 7-8 Australia.
Final: Fiji 24-17 South Africa.
