Kacau Wins Tilak High School's Inter-House Competition
The Koro, Lomaiviti native who clocked 11.19 seconds in the final said he went through an intense four-week training programme to prepare for the inter-house.

Tilak High School’s Year 12 student Aminiasi Titoko said he was grateful to have won the senior boy’s 100 metres final during their inter-house competition at Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.
The Koro, Lomaiviti native who clocked 11.19 seconds in the final said he went through an intense four-week training programme to prepare for the inter-house.
“I want to thank the Almighty for his guidance and also for all the training that I had gone through,” he said
The senior girl’s 100m final was won by Winter Underwood with a time of 13.5s.
“This is big for me since this is the first time for me to take part. I was excited because I beat our school sprinter.
“I took part in the 100m, 400m and 4 by 400m relay and I won all the events.”
Underwood said she wants to work on her 100m starting before the zone meet`.
Kacau House was declared the overall winners and teacher Salen Prasad said this was due to the students’ efforts.
“We’ve a very good runner in the inter-boys grade of Joseph Atalifo who won the 100 and 200 metres.”
The Tilak sprinters are now focused on the Lautoka Zone
OVERALL RESULTS
1st Kacau House: 39 gold medals, 33 silvers, 22 bronze;
2nd Vokai House: 22 gold, 17 silvers,18 bronze medals;
Mam House: 20 gold medals, 25 silvers, 22 bronze:
Kulawai House: 15 gold medals,18 silvers and 20 bronze.
