Naitasiri to step up prep for Suva

With their sights now firmly set on Suva, the Naitasiri team is expected to step up preparations this week as they look to carry their winning momentum into the capital.
Naitasiri found their rhythm in their 37-17 victory against Lautoka Maroons at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Saturday.
Second rower Apisalome Bogidrau scored the try and first five eight Etonia Rokotuisawa added two conversions and two penalties responding strongly.
Head coach Timoci Tinaviti praised his players for the victory, while admitting there were areas of the performance that needed improvement.
"We were down on our discipline, but our communication from outside lifted us in the second half, he said.
"When we came down to Lautoka, our discussion was to play well, do better and win the game." Tuinaviti said .
Tuinaviti was also pleased with the performance of the three players who made their debuts, singling out Emosi Daubitu for special praise.
"Emosi played well today. He really showed what he can do, and hopefully he can continue playing throughout the season."
The victory also saw Naitasiri claim the inaugural Tokairavua Trophy Challenge, presented in remembrance of the late Apenisa Tokairavua, a former Lautoka Rugby captain and Fiji 15s representative from Nadakuni, Waidina, Naitasiri.
It was the first time Naitasiri had challenged for the trophy, making the victory even more significant for the side.
Naitasiri expected to face another tough challenge from a wounded Suva at the HFC stadium in Suva on Friday.
