Batiri Solar Project To Commence Soon

The feasibility study of a solar farm in Batiri, outside Seaqaqa in Macuata is now completed.

The solar farm is a joint project between Food Processors Fiji Limited and the Ko­rean International Cooperation Agency, KOICA.

Funded by KOICA, the study was conduct­ed by Envelops Company Limited, a renew­able energy project developer from South Korea.

It is the same company who developed the Agro Photovoltaic Project in Ovalau.

Plans for implementation of the project had also begun.
