BRED Bank backs innovation award
The bank will sponsor the Excellence in Innovation Award at the 2026 awards, Investment Fiji announced.

BRED Bank (Fiji) Pte Limited has joined the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards (PMIBA) for the first time, sponsoring an award recognising businesses using innovation to improve productivity and create growth.
The bank will sponsor the Excellence in Innovation Award at the 2026 awards, Investment Fiji announced.
The award recognises businesses that have introduced new or improved products, services, processes or business strategies that produce practical results.

Businesses entering the category will have to demonstrate what they changed, why the change was important and how it improved productivity or created value for the business and its customers.
BRED Bank (Fiji) chief executive officer Pierre Tastet said the sponsorship aligned with the bank’s commitment to supporting businesses driving economic transformation through new ideas, improved processes and sustainable value creation.
Investment Fiji chief executive officer Kamal Chetty said BRED Bank’s support aligned with this year’s theme, “Economic Transformation and Inclusive Growth”.
The theme focuses on businesses helping Fiji move into higher-value industries, make better use of digital tools and create opportunities outside the main urban centres.

The Prime Minister’s International Business Awards have recognised Fijian business achievements for more than three decades.
