Capital Insurance Ltd to rebrand as TISA Insurance

Capital Insurance Limited will soon transition to TISA Insurance (Fiji) Limited, signaling what company leaders describe as a bold new chapter focused on trust, values, and long‑term nation‑building.

This was announced during the signing of a partnership with Leadership Fiji yesterday in Suva, which is celebrating 25 years of developing leaders across the country.

While the rebranding marks a visible change in name and identity, TISA chief executive officer David Ariff Chan said the move represents something deeper.

“As we transition from Capital Insurance to TISA Insurance, we are deeply conscious that transformation is not only about brand systems or growth,” Mr Chan said.

“It is about people, values, and leadership.”

Mr Chan said the company’s new direction is grounded in strengthening public confidence and building institutions that communities can rely on.

“Insurance is about protecting futures. Leadership is about shaping futures,” he said.

“For us, this transition reflects our commitment to building organisations that are grounded, principled, and courageous.”

He stressed that strong institutions are critical for Fiji’s development, especially as the country faces economic and social challenges.

“Building a resilient, inclusive, and future‑ready Fiji requires strong institutions. And strong institutions require values.”

Mr Chan said the transition also aligns with the company’s wider commitment to community engagement and leadership development.

Through its new partnership with Leadership Fiji, TISA Insurance is supporting platforms that promote dialogue, collaboration, and responsible leadership.

He further stated that their goal is not just corporate growth, but contributing to a stronger national foundation.

“This is not simply a change of name. It is a clear statement of who we are becoming and the values we choose to stand for,” he said.

As TISA Insurance steps into its new identity, the company says it remains committed to protecting customers’ futures while helping shape a more resilient and confident Fiji.

The company confirmed that details of the official public launch of TISA Insurance will be released soon, including the formal launch date.
