The Fiji Law Society has pledged their support for the review of the Fiji Media Industry Development Act 2010.

This came after a panel discussion yesterday with the Attorney General Siromi Turaga, newsroom editors and authors of the media act analysis report launch.

Fiji Law Society President, William Wylie Clarke commended Dialogue Fiji and the relevant stakeholders for putting together an analysis of the MIDA Act as an eye opener for thorough review and amend the necessary changes.

“I’ve come here to pledge the Fiji Law Society’s support to the process that’s being talked about today,” Mr Clarke said.
