70 Police Officers Charged For Non-Sexual Offences

Seventy Police officers were among 716 peo­ple charged for incidents of serious non-sexual crimes.

This was revealed by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions’ 2022 annual non-sexual violence offences statistics between January 1 and December 31, last year.

There were 716 people charged with a total of 918 separate counts of serious crime offences as of December 31, 2022.
