The Suva Magistrate’s Court yesterday transferred the case involving Apisai Madigibuli, who is accused of murder to the High Court in Suva.

The Suva Magistrate’s Court yesterday transferred the case involving Apisai Madigibuli, who is accused of murder to the High Court in Suva.
He appeared before Magistrate Jeremaia Savou charged with the murder of Kitiana Baravilala at Waimanu Road in Suva last week.
Madigibuli opted for Legal Aid Commission representation.
Related stories
Magistrate Savou told him that the charge of murder was an indictable offence and transferred the matter to the High Court.
His bail would be decided by the High Court.
The body of the woman he allegedly murdered was discovered last week at the Waimanu Apartments, on the corner of Waimanu Road and Robertson Road.
Madigibuli was remanded.The case was adjourned to May 14.
