Ditoka Calms Tension As Community Discusses Funding For Access Road

Minister for Rural, Mari­time Development and Disaster Management Sa­kiasi Ditoka had to step-in to calm heated arguments during a talanoa session at Nasau in Nadi on Thurs­day.

The Nasau community has a com­mittee that manages the construc­tion of its roads.

A donor and former resident of Nasau, now living overseas, had entrusted five people with funds he contributed even though they were not part of the Nasau Roads Com­mittee.
