Police Investigation Continues For Asian Construction Worker

The post mortem examination for the 36-year-old Asian construction worker, who fell from the fourth floor of the WG Friendship Plaza last week Saturday, has been completed.

This was confirmed by Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, yesterday who added that Police investigations into the man’s death was continuing.

In their initial statement Police said the man was putting up scaffolding in the lift area when the alleged incident occurred.

Engineered Design Principal Engineer, Vijay Krishnan, said the matter had been referred to the Occupational Health and Safety Department.
