Theft Charge Delivery Boys Remanded In Custody
Police prosecutor Constable Satereki Mocevakaca objected to bail being granted to the two on the grounds that the two men were employed by Ram Sami and Sons and it was a serious breach of trust.

Two delivery boys of Ram Sami and Sons facing theft charges appeared at the Magistrates Court in Nasinu during a special court sitting yesterday.
Mikeli Waqa, 28, and Shelvin Jain, 39, appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele.
It is alleged that the two men, on April 18, 2019, at Nasinu, stole nine cartons of eggs containing 54 trays, valued at $603.35, the property of Ram Sami and Sons.

Waqa opted to be represented by a private lawyer while Jain opted for representation from the Legal Aid Commission.
Police prosecutor Constable Satereki Mocevakaca served both the accused with the full phase disclosures.
He also objected to bail being granted to the two on the grounds that the two men were employed by Ram Sami and Sons and it was a serious breach of trust.
Magistrate Ratakele told the accused persons to make a formal bail application.
The two men were remanded in custody and the matter was adjourned to April 29 for mention.
