Water Supply Restoration To Affected Areas Underway
The disruption was due to an electrical switchboard burnout at the water treatment plant that unfortunately could not be avoided.

All repairs at the Waila Water Treatment Plant are complete with water supply restoration currently underway, and the timeline for full water restoration will be dependent on the elevation of the affected area.
The disruption was due to an electrical switchboard burnout at the water treatment plant that unfortunately could not be avoided.
Water carting trucks have already been engaged for affected areas to provide water during the disruption and further trucks are on standby as needed.
