Letters: Dredging In The West

A former Waterways minister is now laughing away, hence enjoying comfort in USP.

Two and half years back, there were hives of launching dredging activities both in Ba and Nadi.

It was big time grand launching plus reassuring speeches as it would answer the flooding difficulties faced by the affected communities

in the Western Division.

We were reliably informed through television, newspapers and radio stations that these dredging activities would alleviate constant flooding big time.

Today, all were nothingness and failed launching.

A total waste of time and taxpayers' dollars.

Today, we witnessed the failed politicians wanting to save their necks from justice.

Succinctly, the Opposition kept fighting for their entitlement with beliefs that they were the largest failed party.
