7s Captain Promises To Deliver In Toulouse

Fiji Airways Fijian 7s captain Tevita Daugunu said they are challenged to deliver their best performance at the Toulouse 7s in France, next weekend.

The Fijians are in Pool B with Kenya, Wales and France.

Daugunu said it is going to be an interesting tussle.

“It is a tough pool and very competitive,” Daugunu said.

“We are looking forward to the tournament. Players like Semi Kunatani, and Napolioni Bolaca will add experience- Semi in the forwards and Napo in the backline.”

Daugunu said it has been a tough four weeks of preparations.

“We know the best way to prepare is to work hard and we worked hard every day,” he said.

“We pushed each other. We are ready for the two tournaments. The main focus during our training was on defence and retaining the kick offs.

"We have polished that area. Just like every team we have prepared well, we are prepared to win. We promise to deliver to our fans expectations.”
