Bua College Eyes Deans Trophy

Two All Bua Central College rugby sides are in the North­ern Secondary Schools rug­by final tomorrow at the All Saints school ground.

“The boys have played well to qualify in the finals. They have played their best, entertaining spectators with spectacular rug­by,” principal Raman La said."

Their Under-15 and U-19 are in the finals.

BCC U15 play the Macuata zone one winner, Holy Family Second­ary School while their U-19 will face All Saint Secondary School.

Lal said the team's consistency over the past few weeks would no doubt positively impact the rest of the students aiming to represent the schoolboys’ rugby team squad next year.

"A special thank you to the lead­ership shown by our U15, U17 and U19 team captains during and lead­ing up to the finals," he said.

"It was a little disappointing to note that our U17 grade could not make it to the finals, however, we are all fortunate to be able to wit­ness them play hard till the very end."

"We owe it to the staff members, coaches, students, parents and sup­porters from the Bua community for supporting our rugby boys."

"It will no doubt be an amazing achievement for the players and es­pecially the school if the two teams win the final, I urge parents, fans and well-wishers to turn out in numbers to create positive atmos­phere to encourage the players to secure the victory and play in the Fiji Secondary School Deans com­petition."
