Winston “Real Deal” Hill will seize every opportunity that comes in his fight against state of Victoria (Australia) champion Jyl Wright for the International Boxing Organization (IBO) Asia Pacific title in the super welterweight division.
The fight will be held at Prince Charles Park, Nadi on May 18.
“This is exciting, not just for local boxing but for the South Pacific and international boxing as well,” he said.
“He’s (Wright) a champion in his own right and we’ll see come May 18 whether I’m up to par with international standard of boxing.”
Hill said he would need to put in the hard work to deliver on fight night.

“Wright is a pressure fighter as he likes to come forward and he’s got an enormous gas tank,” he said.
“The fitness will be no doubt going to be there so we’re out for a good punch out boxing match.”
Hill is working on a game plan to counter Wright’s fighting style.
“The main thing I’m looking forward to is to evolve as a fighter and see how best I can come out,” he said.
Hill is on a winning streak, he has beaten Jese Ravudi twice and Dylan Archer on technical knockout last year.
