Nadi wary of Tailevu

The Aca Bibi-coached Jack’s Nadi side is expecting a tough match against Tailevu in tomorrow’s Skipper Cup clash at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

This was the view of Nadi Rugby Union president Mataiasi Nabau.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Nabau said it would be an interesting match.

“Playing Tailevu is a big task and to beat them on their turf is another story,” he said.

“We have a lot of respect for Tailevu, they are a champion side as they have proved to be the team to beat over the years.”

Nabau said they are treating each match as a final.

“We are working overtime to redeem ourselves in the top four positions this season. We will fight tooth and nail for it.

“The boys are aware of the task and they are raring to go for it. We have a game plan and hope to execute it style.”

The Under-20 match kicks-off at 1pm followed by the senior’s at 3pm.
