The Cambridge/ BLK Nadroga rugby players have been doing a lot of soul searching to help lift their performance in the Skipper Cup competition.

The Stallions suffered two consecutive losses 31-22 to Suva and 22-12 to Nadi.

This was confirmed to SUNsports yesterday by Nadroga Rugby Union president Jiuta Waqavonovono.

He said the focus on tomorrow’s Skipper Cup clash to prepare Nadroga for the upcoming INKK Mobile Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge.

“Next week, will be a one-week break for us and the INKK Farebrother- Sullivan Trophy challenge will start the following week,” Waqavonovono said.

“We are looking forward to playing against Lautoka this week and we know that Lautoka has been playing good rugby.

For tomorrow, Nadroga will be strengthened by the inclusion of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua loosehead prop Emosi Tuqiri.

Ruled out of tomorrow’s clash are Drua winger Taniela Rakuro and rookie centre, Waqa Nalaga.

Rakuro plays for the Drua in their Super Rugby Pacific clash against Moana Pasifika in Lautoka.

The Under-20 kicks-off at 1pm followed by the seniors at 3pm.
