The Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) received a Toyota Yaris from Asco Motors in Suva, yesterday.
FNRL chief executive officer Timoci Naleba said Asco Motors had been supporting them since 2013.
“It looks brighter for us and we are very blessed to have Asco Motors on board,” Naleba said.
FNRL received a Toyota Costa last year and would be receiving a Toyota Hilux later this year.
This was confirmed by Asco Motors chief executive officer Craig Simms who further said that there was a possibility of an extension of their sponsorship contract.
“We want to congratulate the FNRL and the Vodafone Fijian Bati for their achievement at the Rugby League World Cup,” Simms said.
The handover was part of their estimated $150,000 sponsorship deal between the FNRL and Asco Motors.
