Nabua under 14 girls target semi-finals

Nabua Secondary School's Un­der 14 girls are target­ing a semi-final spot at the Crest Fiji Secondary Schools Championship at Jai Narayan College in Suva.

Team manageress Ledua Tuisalemi said the team was determined to make the most of its opportunity.

"Our Ul4 team qualified for the quarter­finals along with the Open girls' team," Tuisalemi said.

"We had two wins and a loss so I thank the girls for their effort. Our loss was to Adi Cakobau School 12-10, second game we won 13-7 against Dudley High School and last game we won against Nadroga Arya College 13-7."

Tuisalemi said teamwork would be key.

"I believe teamwork and every team player playing their part is important for them to move up to the next level," she said.

This is NSS's second appearance at the competition. They reached the semi­finals last year before competing in the Vanua Cup.

Tuisalemi thanked the school admin­istration, parents and teachers for their support and urged them to attend the semi-final.
