Former Tailevu rugby team half­back Suluka Tunaka.

Former Tailevu rugby team half­back Suluka Tunaka has been included in the Fiji men's rugby 7s training squad. Tunaka played for Army Green in last weekend's Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tourna­ment at the National Stadium in Suva.

He is one of the two players that have been named by head coach Osea Kolini­sau. The other player is Aquino Saven­aca of Devo Babaas,

Speaking to SUNsports Fiji men's 7s coach Osea Kolinisau said the two players showed their worth during the Marist 7s tournament.

"They both played really well during the 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s but at the moment Savenaca has gone to Papua New Guinea with the Devo Babaas," he said.

Kolinisau said Savenaca would return to camp after their tour to PNG.

Kolinisau said Suluka's defence was a key factor as they were heading into Hong Kong a tournament of great sig­nificance to them.

Tunaka said that he was honoured to be selected and acknowledged Kolini­sau for having faith in him.

Meanwhile, the Fiji men's 7s team is in a tough Pool B of the Hong Kong 7s tournament, which is from April 17- 19. The Fijians are top seed for Pool B where they face France, Great Britain and Germany.

In the women's competition the Rich­ard Walker coached- Fijiana 7s side is in Pool A with New Zealand, Japan and Brazil.
