Drua Influence boosts Lautoka's Maroons

The Lautoka rugby side secured their first bonus point win in the Skipper Cup competition.
The Maroons beat neighbours Ba 27-15, at Churchill Park (Ground 3) in Lautoka, last Saturday.
Lautoka fielded Fijian Drua rookie utility back Sikeli Rabitu at full-back.
Ba took an early 5-0 lead when winger Jone Natanu, scored a try 20 seconds into the game. Lautoka scored their first try to Seru Masi with Rabitu adding the extras for a 7-5 lead. In the 21st minute Ba regained the lead with their second unconverted try.
Maroons flanker and Drua development player Freddy Ralulu crossed the line to score Lautoka’s second try with Rabitu converting for a 14-10 lead at halftime.
Former Drua lock Raikabula Momoedonu also played for the Maroons.
