A group of bus operators met officials in the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday to raise their concerns about the Vodafone eTransport system.
Representatives of the group remained tightlipped after the meeting, but could only say that they had concerns about the system and the fact that a year after its introduction operators was still having problems with it.
One particular problem was the technical issues faced such as differences in card balances when they are swiped on buses and the refund of unused money under the eticketing card and the use of disposable cards.
