Ex-PM's Military Talk Causes Furore

Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua, who is responsible for the RFMF, has labelled Mr Bainimarama's comments as "treasonous".

Coalition Government MPs yesterday condemned Opposition Leader Voreqe Bainimarama's talk on the military in Parliament.

In his response to the President's speech, Mr Bainimarama said he had to inform the rank and file of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) that all the philosophical commitment and their years of hard work were now being undermined and disregarded by this Government.
