Fiji Police: Partners Charged With Death Of Child, 2-Years-Old
The victim was allegedly found by her 20-year-old mother, who is the first accused, lying unconscious in their Nakasi home on the night of the 5th of March.

A woman and her partner will be produced in court today for allegedly murdering a 2 year old child.
The victim was allegedly found by her 20-year-old mother, who is the first accused, lying unconscious in their Nakasi home on the night of the 5th of March.
She was rushed to the Valelevu Health Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

A post mortem examination was conducted where the cause of death revealed the child had sustained serious injuries resulting in her death.
Investigators upon further enquiry discovered the child's 20-year-old mother and her 28-year-old partner had allegedly been fighting on the night the child was found.
It is alleged that the child was caught in the middle of the dispute and was allegedly assaulted.
Both have been charged with murder and will be produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court tomorrow.
