President Meets New Envoys For Saudi Arabia, Brazil

President Major General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote on Tuesday received Saudi Arabia’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Fiji Mesaad Ibrahim Al Sulaim.
President Konrote welcomed the new ambassador and noted the strong bilateral relations that both countries enjoyed, and thanked the Saudi Arabian Government for its continuous support to the government and the people of Fiji.
Ambassador Al Sulaim also said that the Saudi Arabian Government is keen to further develop its bilateral relations with Fiji.

Also on Tuesday, Ambassador Sérgio Eduardo Moreira Lima, Brazil’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Fiji paid a courtesy call on the President Konrote.
Ambassador Sérgio Eduardo Moreira Lima was a career diplomat and holds a degree in Law from the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ).
Ambassador Lima has served at the Brazilian Mission to the United Nations and at the Embassies in Washington, Lisbon and London.
He will be based in Canberra, Australia.
