“We were truly blessed to be part of the march in Lautoka yesterday, standing united in the fight against drugs,” Mr Tagicakibau said.
“As a Sunday School teacher from Tower of Strength AOG, my heart is deeply concerned about what is happening in our Western communities. Drugs are trying to ‘colour’ the lives of our young people, shaping their future with destruction instead of purpose.”
“But today (yesterday), we stood to declare a greater truth: Say no to drugs and say yes to Jesus.”
“Because where drugs bring confusion, Jesus brings clarity. Where drugs destroy, Jesus restores. Where drugs create bondage, Jesus gives true freedom.”
Mr Tagicakibau said the event was more than just a march.
“This is more than just a march — it is a calling. As teachers, parents and leaders, we must rise to guide, protect and pray for our children.”
“We must remind them that their identity is found in Christ, not in the pressures of this world.”
“Let us continue to ‘colour the West’ not with drugs, but with faith, love and the truth of God’s word. Together, we can be the light in the darkness,” he added.
