Residents of the Golden Age Home (GAH) in Samabula were treated to Valentine’s Day at the Fiji Museum in Suva on Wednesday.

Out of the 49 residents currently being cared for at the Samabula Golden Age Home, 30 residents attended the event which was funded by donors who regularly support the Home.

GAH interim chair for the Board of Visitors, Marica Hallacy shared in her address to the senior citizens: “On this day when the world celebrates love, we pray for healing, strength, and peace for each senior citizen of the residence. We also want to remind you all today, that we love and appreciate you and we hope that you will enjoy this event organised especially for you.”
