Former Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) Member of Parliament Peceli Vosanibola’s application to have the agreed facts filed last October has been adjourned.
Magistrate Pulekeria Low, who heard the matter on Friday, adjourned the matter to next Tuesday at 12pm.
During the last proceeding, Vosanibola’s lawyer, Mesake Waqanavanua had submitted to the court that there were errors within the agreed facts which prejudiced their theory.

It was heard in court that the agreed facts referenced by the defence was one which was submitted by Vosanibola’s previous lawyers on October 12, 2023.
Charge
Vasunibola is charged with one count each of giving false information and obtaining financial advantage.
He was charged by the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption (FICAC) in 2019.
It was alleged that between August 2019 and March 2020, Vosanibola falsely stated that his permanent residence was at Navuloa Village, Bureta in Ovalau, in Lomaiviti obtaining $19,749.50.
It is alleged that he breached the Parliamentary Remuneration Act 2014 when he claimed travel and accommodation allowances which he was not entitled to.
